🚧 Explore Working in Big Builds – Work Experience Opportunity 🏗️
Highlands LLEN is now calling for Expressions of Interest for an exciting 2-day work experience program on 29 & 30 April.
This opportunity is open to Year 10–12 students in the Ballarat region who are curious about careers in construction, engineering, design, and the built environment.
Across the two days, students will:
🔹 Visit real project sites across Ballarat
🔹 Hear from industry professionals in engineering, planning, construction, and government
🔹 Learn how major infrastructure and development projects come to life
🔹 Explore a wide range of career pathways in the industry
This is a fantastic chance to gain real-world insight, hear career stories, and see projects in action.

We had the pleasure recently of providing interview practice to students from Ballarat Christian College P-12 as part of our Mock Interviews, which aims to build students' interview skills, experience and confidence. Students are interviewed by industry and business professionals, and are given constructive feedback. It is also an opportunity for students to build beneficial connections with industry.

The Ballarat Jobs & Training Expo is a careers, training and skills Expo that will host over 80 organisations and employers and is in its 4th year!

Industries represented will include training and employment pathway opportunities within Ballarat and surrounding areas. All designed to support and engage our community.

The Expo is a great chance for attendees to talk to professionals in industries of interest, attend interactive workshops, team building, networking activities, forums and seminars.
