Emergency Water Distribution for the Granite Belt

The Rotary Satellite Club of Tenterfield - The Granite Belt, in conjunction with other Rotary Clubs in the District of 9640, which embraces the Gold Coast, Northern Rivers NSW, Goondiwindi, Warwick and Toowoomba areas, is the contact and distribution point for emergency water supplies for the Granite Belt District of Queensland.

Generous business houses and individuals and supporters of Rotary are donating both drinking and potable water, time and transport costs to supply the drought ravaged Granite Belt of Queensland which has seen little or no rain for 2 years. The districts water supply will run dry by Christmas 2019 and most private dams have already run dry.

The distribution point for the emergency water will be Ballandean Estate Wines.
