Balingup Community Playgroup Balingup Playgroup is a community based, not-for-profit space for young children aged 0-5years old and their families.

Indoor and outdoor play areas, outdoor cubby house, sandpit, indoor soft play area, baby change area and kitchen for the parents.

Hello lovely community it is with sadness that we let you know that Balingup Community Playgroup will be closing. We have loved this journey but it has run it's course unfortunately. Amanda and I both run our own Family Day Care services and need to focus more on our own businesses and children. We have loved getting to know you all and hanging out. Hopefully we can catch up outside of playgroup.

We hope that you can understand.

Playgroup is on tomorrow 30/10/2025.
It will be cloudy with a chance of rainfall, buuut that’s wont stop the fun, play, learning and community connection.

The end of year is fast approaching and if you’re thinking of school options for next year Balingup Primary is offering some Kindy Skill days next term.
I’m pretty biased but I love our awesome school, filled with an amazing principal, teacher, students and parents.

Hello lovely people!
Sorry we’ve been a bit quiet this term and a bit up and down.
Two of us that run this lovely group operate our own Family Day Care services where we have between 4 and 8 children by ourselves at a time. Playgroup is important to us and the community, but our Family Day Care services and babes are our number 1 focus and priority and this can be tricky when also running playgroup.
Our lovely Andrea has amazingly jumped in and helped when we have been unable to attend. Parents have also been great at pitching in and helping when they can. Thank you, we appreciate you all 🙌😘
Moving forward though next year, we will have new children to settle in at our Family Day Care services and we will need time to get to know and settle them in. So we’d really love to have a few more members who may be happy to open and run some sessions.
This is a love paid role and we operate on Thursdays 9am - 11am during the term time.
If you are interested I’d love to hear from you. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰

Holy moly it’s going to be cold and windy tomorrow! But never fear we will have the heater on, with the kettle boiled and good conversation flowing!

Hi lovelies

The weather is supposed to be in our favour tomorrow. So bring your kiddos down to the playgroup, situated on the Balingup school grounds in the building sporting the lovely Noongar mural… Kaya!

Please bring a cut piece of fruit to share at morning tea and enjoy a cuppa with the lovely Andrea.
