Donations to our partnership schools don't necessarily need to be monetary. Local companies are more than welcome to bring in their different skills set. Once a month Property Management have availed their maintenance team to work on odd jobs to aliviate the financial burden from our principals.
Your business or personal self could do the same.
Let's come together and offer our value to the under resourced school on our footstep!!

There is 1 day left to help us reach our goals and benefit from the 2023/24 tax period - ACT NOW!

As the financial year end draws to a close for many, seize the opportunity to maximize your impact and receive tax benefits. Your support will be directed to our Eduhelper and Learnership programme.

The Michaelhouse Community Partnership Trust (MCPT) is dedicated to educational upliftment, serving 16 schools within our community. With your help, we have launched 10 impactful programmes, including placing interns as EduHelpers and Learnerships in schools. These opportunities aim to enhance teaching skills, bolster teacher capacity, and provide valuable learning experiences for educators moving into the World of Work, ensuring more effective learning for our schools.

In 2023, we appointed 25 EduHelpers and 8 Learnerships, benefiting 11 schools.
In 2024, our goal is to expand to reach all 16 schools, and make a difference beyond all expectations!

This quarter has been action packed with activities in the CPT, our newest baby is the ECD program which we have partnered with Grow ECD to roll out! Yesterday our ECD Principals had their 1st session on using the Giraffe App which is an absolute Bible for ECD centers.

CHRISTMAS GIFT WITH PURPOSE - WE THANK YOU

The festivities of Christmas feel distant; however, our hearts are full from your generous contributions supporting the CHRISTMAS GIFT WITH PURPOSE initiative. Christmas Gifts with Purpose succeeded in raising awareness about our work in the Midlands, and all funds will benefit our partnered under-resourced community schools in our Midlands footprint.

We reached a staggering number of people with gifts and messages of support flowing through. We thank you for taking a moment in your festivities to think about the unsettling challenges of our Midlands Schools; your support is ever-present in your hearts and minds.

We are working hard to secure effective places of learning and enhance education, to restore hope for a brighter future. Kicking off our 1st EDUvelopment session with INjoloba Secondary School matrics. Supporting our kids with career choices is a pivotal at grade 12 level. Great feedback from our superstars. Goals are set! Tertiarys have been identified. Watch this space matric 2024 will blow us off our feet!!

Khazimula children's home is situated in the most beautiful and serene part of the midlands. Michaelhouse and CPT are big supporters of the home, the children of Khazimula go to our footprint schools and we are happy to give a helping hand where we can. This week we delivered lots of goodies in the form of clothes towels and bedding donated by the Michaelhouse boys last year. We are extremely grateful for the team looking after the children. Keep up the good work!!! 👌👍
