Our logo has the local pinnacles in Balcatta. We headed up to the Pinnacles Dessert to show our scouts even more. Seemed fitting in our 50th year end of year camp ⚜️

Five years ago, WA launched Containers for Change to reduce litter, boost recycling, and give community groups a new fundraising tool, including the Amelia Heights Scout Group. Since then, it has become one of the most successful container deposit schemes in the country.
✅ More than 4.5 billion containers recycled
✅ Over $16 million raised by charities, schools, and local organisations
✅ Hundreds of jobs created across the State
✅ Recycling rate almost doubled from 34% to over 65%
And from 1 July 2026, we’re expanding the scheme to include wine and spirit bottles, giving Western Australians even more opportunities to recycle and be rewarded.
