Message from the President…..

Dear Friends

It is with immense sadness that I reach out to you all.

We are heartbroken after the terrorist attack on our community at Bondi Beach last night. We are praying for the injured to have a speedy refuah shlemah, and send heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones.

In light of this tragedy, we have changed our Young Adult event to be focussed around light and love, rather than fun. We will be lighting the Chanukiah after coming together with strength and unity.

If you would like to support a grieving family with food, Rabbi Chriqui from the Sydney Sephardi Synagogue is organising meals for families to assist those sitting shiva, or those families who have love ones in hospital.

😇 We are truly thankful to the generous donor who gifted us with SIX large boxes of stunning, new, children, and baby clothes!

We hosted a pop up “shop” which was fun, noisy and filled with grateful parents who could take as much as they needed (for free!) for their children 🤩 all in time for the Yamim Noraim 🧿
