The Lexus Melbourne Cup will be on display at the Bacchus Marsh RSL Hall, Main Street, on September 2nd, 2026, from 2–3pm.

Bring your friends, family, and cameras — this is a brilliant photo opportunity and a chance to get up close to one of Australia’s most famous sporting trophies.

Today, Bacchus Marsh RSL proudly commemorated **Vietnam Veterans Day**, honouring the service and sacrifice of all those who served in the Vietnam War.

It was wonderful to come together with our veterans, their families, friends and members of our community to remember, reflect and pay our respects.

A heartfelt thank you to all our veterans and families for joining us today. Your presence, stories and continued support mean so much to our RSL community.

The Bacchus Marsh RSL Committee would like to thank this wonderful community who came to the Dawn Service ANZAC Day. We value the support of you all. The SES year after year do the gunfire breakfast enjoyed by all and organised by Kylie Logan with the RSL. The local businesses have shown their support donating food for the event donations to the RSL for the benefit of the Veterans. Thank you our local councillors and mayor, the schools who attended and the students taking part in the service. Thank you to Story House Telford Park and the Bacchus Marsh service clubs and footy clubs who support us, thank you to all. The wreaths were wonderful from Main Street Florist and Mel’s Blooms Maddingley. Thank you Mrs B,s coffee.
We hope you all enjoyed service person Shane Layt’s production on the screen.
The Volunteers work hard especially throughout the ANZAC appeals two weeks prior to this very special day.

ANZAC Appeal Reminder – Only a Few Days to Go

Our ANZAC Appeal is underway, with just a few days remaining to get your 2026 tokens.

Please keep an eye out for our volunteers around town in the usual spots:
• The Village Shopping Centre
• Outside IGA Maddingley
• At the RSL Hall (Monday & Friday, 10am–12 noon)

We sincerely thank you for your continued support of our veterans, we know it's hard economic times for everyone; however every little bit helps support the veterans in our community.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Dawn Service on ANZAC Day.
