Another community project completed by the Lions Club of Bacchus Marsh!

On Sunday, May 11, club members worked together to repair and restore sections of the fence at Lions Reserve, Meikle Street, Bacchus Marsh. The team of 11 Lions replaced damaged posts, repaired broken rails and installed a new top rail, helping improve the appearance and safety of the reserve.

A special thank you to David Durham from Durham’s Orchard for helping source and supply the replacement top rail, and to Gerry Shelley for providing timber for replacement posts.

It was a great example of teamwork, practical community service, and Lions members rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
Well done to everyone involved!

We have a new addition to our collection point! Darley Neighbourhood House is very proud to support The Free Children's Book Charity by collecting children's books Supported by the Bacchus Marsh Lions Club Inc . You can find the collection point in our foyer alongside our collection points for blister packs, stamps, eye glasses and mobile phones. Find out more about this wonderful initiative here:

With the incredible support of our local community, the Bacchus Marsh Lions Club has raised $26,117 over the past twelve months for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

This amazing result is only possible thanks to the generosity of our residents, businesses, volunteers, and everyone who dropped a coin in a tin or helped us along the way.

Your kindness truly makes a difference for children and families who need it most.

🦁 Bacchus Marsh Lions Club – Supporting the Good Friday Appeal 💛

The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal is almost here, and our Lions members and friends are out in force this week.
From Monday to Thursday, you’ll see our collectors at:

- Darley IGA
- Maddingley IGA
- FoodWorks
- Village Shopping Centre

We’re also grateful to the many local businesses who continue to support the Appeal with collection tins on their counters. These tins will be collected on Thursday.

On Good Friday itself, our Lions will be out around town shaking tins to help raise vital funds for the kids at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

If you’d like to help collect on Good Friday, please come to the Bacchus Marsh CFA to register and receive a collection tin.
