Burdekin Water Festival

Burdekin Water Festival A celebration of the abundance of water in our district and one of the longest running festivals in Queensland.

The Burdekin Water Festival runs from June to September each year and includes a wide range of community events including of course the Ambassador program, gala events and a Street Parade & Mardi Gras with rides, food stall and other street vendors.

Every year our community comes up with creative, colourful themes that bring the festival to life – from floats and decorations to shop windows and costumes. Now it’s your turn to get involved!
