What is a Lifestyle Facilitator? 🤔

➡️A Lifestyle Facilitator or "LF" is a support worker.

➡️They help support clients to live their best life in accordance to their needs, abilities and preferences. 🤝

➡️They assist with Personal Care, assist with domestic duties and assist with activities in the client's home and in Supported Independent Living🏘

➡️ They assist clients to attend activities of interest such as Cowboys Games, theatre productions, parks, cafes and shopping 🎟

➡️ They support clients to achieve their goals like attending the gym, supporting them at meal times, going for walks or attending appointments 📅

➡️They guide with compassion, empathy and understanding 🥰

To be a Lifestyle Facilitator, you will need ✍️
➡️ Yellow Card
➡️ Blue Card
➡️ A licence
➡️ An insured vehicle
➡️ Current First Aid and CPR

We are always hiring Lifestyle Facilitators to accommodate our growing client base and provide on the job training as well as training days and workshops including Epilepsy Training, Mealtime time management, MAYBO, positive behaviour support, manual handling and more!

We are hiring all ages from 17 and above and have 24/7 shift options for all availabilities!

Below you'll find information on their Youth Program, aimed at 13-25 year olds living with epilepsy.

This Mothers Day, we'd like to honor all mothers but we'd like to extend our appreciation to the mothers of children with disabilities. It is a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and dedication of these mothers as they navigate the challenges of raising children with special needs.

Some mums manage feeding tubes, therapy schedules, and school meetings while also working, caregiving for others, and managing their own health. Others cheer their adult children on as they build careers, push for justice, and live life on their own terms.

There’s no one path. No single story. But what many mums share is the everyday power of showing up.
