5 Lands Walk

5 Lands Walk Walk with us! 10kms of free cultural activities, great walking and beautiful views - maybe even whales. You can stop and enjoy, or move on, as you wish.

It’s a gift from the community of the Central Coast to you. The 5 Lands Walk is a FREE community-based and community-operated cultural and spiritual Walk. It seeks to “connect people to people and people to place”. The 5 Lands Walk is a 10 km coastal walk with FIVE festival sites along the beaches, headlands, paths and roads that connect the FIVE diverse communities of Macmasters Beach, Copacabana

, Avoca Beach, North Avoca and Terrigal. Each of these 5 Lands hosts celebrations for you to enjoy, which aim to enrich you culturally and spiritually and connect you to our community and to our place. We highlight FIVE Central Coast-based multicultural community groups to present and share their culture. And the local Aboriginal community shares their ceremony, spirituality, culture, law and stories with you. You walk along beaches and over headlands with stunning views, and then arrive at a Land where live music, sculptural installations, art exhibitions, Aboriginal art, culture and stories, multi-cultural and kids’ activities await you. And if you don’t want to walk the whole way, there’s a free shuttle bus service connecting the Lands. We have a program of around 40 activities that roll up through the Lands like a wave, timed to allow for comfortable walking and browsing. The 5 Lands Walk is a gift from the community of the Central Coast to you.

🐋🎶 VOCAL ACTIVATION WORKSHOP WITH ALAYA NADA 🎶🐋

Join Alaya Nada for a unique and inspiring Vocal Activation Workshop at NORTH AVOCA SLSC as part of the 20th Anniversary 5 Lands Walk.

Held in honour of the Winter Solstice and the annual humpback whale migration along our coastline, this guided one-hour experience invites participants to connect with their breath, body and voice through the universal language of sound.

Through gentle vocal exploration, you'll discover your own voice as a powerful instrument for connection, regulation and expression. Inspired by the extraordinary way whales communicate across vast distances, this workshop explores the idea that all living beings exist within a shared field of vibration and resonance.

Together, we'll explore how sound can:
✨ Regulate the nervous system
✨ Foster connection within ourselves and with others
✨ Create a shared sense of harmony and belonging

Each voice is unique, yet together we create something greater – a living expression of community, culture and connection.
