TESEP Ltd has upcoming face-to-face professional development workshops across four states – with more to come in 2026.

These include in schools and a Hub Event in Bathurst.

All of our workshops are designed to help teachers (science, geopgraphy, primary and more) and laboratory technicians teach Earth, Environmental and Space topics aligned with the new Australian Curriculum v9 and state syllabi.

A friendly reminder that TESEP Ltd (Teacher Earth Science Education Programme) will be presenting Professional Development workshops and a field trip at Geoscience Australia, Canberra on 16 and 17 December 2025.

Four sessions will be held over the two days – you can register for all or individual sessions.

Topics will include staples like the rock cycle and plate tectonics, and our newest workshop on Remote Sensing and Data Science.

Tuesday 16 December 2025

9am to 12.00pm: Chemistry of the Rock Cycle, Plate Tectonics and Critical Minerals Professional Development workshop.

1.00to 3.30pm: A guided field trip through time- the Geological Time Walk.

Wednesday 17 December 2025

9am to 12.00pm: Remote Sensing and Data Science Professional Development workshop.

1 to 3.30pm: Wet Rocks Professional Development workshop
