I run a small business based in Europe, and we've hit a recurring logistical hurdle we're hoping someone can help with.
The Situation:
We frequently receive large project payments from clients in the United States.Our primary business bank account is in Euros, and our bank's process for receiving USD is slow and comes with high conversion fees that cut significantly into our margins.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a reliable individual or a registered small business based in the US who can act as a payment agent.Essentially, you would receive USD wire transfers or ACH payments from our clients into your US bank account.
· Upon receipt and clearance of the funds, you would then forward the balance to our European entity (less the agreed-upon commission).
· We would start with a smaller transaction to ensure the process is smooth for both parties.
The Offer:
We offer a competitive commission for this service,typically between 2-5% of the total amount received, depending on the volume. This is a legitimate business arrangement, and we are prepared to verify our business identity and sign a simple contract to formalize the relationship.
Who Would Be a Good Fit?
· Someone with a registered LLC or S-Corp (preferred).
· A freelancer or business owner who understands basic bookkeeping and has a business bank account.
· A trustworthy individual who can communicate clearly and professionally.
