It’s amazing the conversations that can happen when our young people know they’re in a safe space. 🫶🏽

No matter what is happening outside these four walls, when they walk through these doors, they know this is their Aak Min – Safe Space. ❤️

A place to talk, laugh, dream, plan and just be.

And from some of those conversations… something pretty exciting is happening! 👀🛫⛹🏾‍♀️⛹🏾‍♂️

Watch this space… 🫶🏽

Another awesome weekend at Wolverton Station for some of our Kang Kang girls! 🐴💗

Senior Constable Leigh and Police Liaison Officers Chantelle and Jacqueline headed out with the girls to spend time with Emma and the amazing Swift FNQ team.

For some, it was their very first visit. For others, their third or fourth — and the growth we are seeing is incredible. 🫶🏽
More confidence. More courage. More willingness to step outside their comfort zones and give things a go.

Working with horses is about so much more than riding. It teaches trust, patience, responsibility, communication and, most importantly, believing in yourself.

These opportunities matter. They give our young people a safe space to learn, grow, connect and discover what they are capable of.
We see you girls. Keep showing up, keep having a go — we are SO proud of you! 👏🏽

A huge thank you to Emma and Swift FNQ for always creating that safe space for our young people 🐴💗

Thank you Rio Tinto Weipa for supporting our Kang Kang Youth Development Program. These experiences for our Kang Kang Youth would not be possible without your support. 🫶🏽
