🌊 Blessing of the Fleet returns to Augusta this Sunday as part of the Augusta Whalesong Festival.

The Blessing of the Fleet is an annual tradition held to bless all sea vessels and their crews, helping to instill safety while out on the water. Reverend David Bardsley will walk around the harbour blessing the boats, including the whale watching vessels.

Unfortunately, due to the severe weather forecast, some of the additional harbour activities have had to be relocated for safety reasons. Market stalls and other outdoor activities cannot go ahead at the harbour because of the forecast high winds and heavy rain.

The Blessing of the Fleet will still proceed, and we thank everyone for their understanding.

Due to poor weather conditions, the Sunday Markets for the 2026 Augusta Whalesong Festival on 31 May have been moved to the Augusta Recreation Centre.
