🎨✨ MAGNIFICO ART EXHIBITION! ✨🎨

What a wonderful morning celebrating the talented artists of The Grove at our Meet & Greet! 💜💚🩷

It was so special for our participants to see all of their hard work, creativity and amazing artwork come together on display in the Foyer Gallery. There were plenty of proud smiles seeing their pieces hanging for the community to enjoy! 🖼️🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who has already visited the exhibition, and an extra special thank you to those who have purchased a piece of artwork and supported our artists. 💕

If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, there’s still plenty of time! The exhibition will remain on display for the next couple of months, so pop into the Foyer Gallery and check out the incredible work created by our participants. 🎨✨

A big thank you to Tablelands Regional Council and Tablelands Galleries for helping make this opportunity possible and for supporting our participants and their creativity. 💚

Residents are advised that Tablelands Regional Council, in partnership with the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, is planning to conduct a hazard reduction burn at Hallorans Hill Conservation Park, between Dalziel Avenue and Twelfth Avenue, on Tuesday 8 September.

The burn will only proceed under suitable weather conditions to ensure the fire remains low intensity and manageable. Wildlife corridors will be maintained to allow native animals to move away from the burn area.

Smoke is likely to affect surrounding parts of Atherton. Residents, particularly those with respiratory conditions, should take appropriate precautions, including closing windows and doors and keeping necessary medications readily available.

What you should do:
✅ Stay indoors and close windows and doors if smoke is affecting your area
✅ Keep respiratory medications readily available
✅ Avoid driving through smoke where possible
✅ Watch for firefighters and emergency vehicles working in the area
✅ Do not fly drones near the burn area, as they can disrupt aerial firefighting operations.

Hazard reduction burns play an important role in reducing bushfire risk, protecting communities and infrastructure, and supporting the health and biodiversity of the natural environment.

👑🌽 CONGRATULATIONS, SASCHA! 🌽👑

What an incredible result from the 2026 Tablelands Maize Festival! 💜💚

We are so thankful to Sascha for choosing Tableland Community Link as her nominated charity throughout her Maize Queen journey and raising an amazing $3,672.62 for our organisation. ✨

Our participants also had an amazing time getting dressed up and joining Sascha on her float for the Festival Street Parade! 🎉🌽 It was such a fun experience for everyone involved and wonderful to be part of such a special community event.

A huge amount of time, effort and dedication goes into fundraising, and we are incredibly grateful for Sascha’s support and for helping shine a light on TCL within our local community.

Congratulations on being crowned 2026 Maize Queen, Sascha! 👑 A very well-deserved achievement.

Our Magnifico Art Exhibition opens Monday 24 August at the Foyer Gallery, and we’re excited to invite everyone to a special Meet & Greet with our artists! 💜💚🩷

Come along and celebrate the wonderful work of our artists! Enjoy tea, coffee, juice and light snacks while browsing the exhibition, meeting the artists and enjoying a relaxed art-opening atmosphere. ☕🎨✨

Councillors and gallery staff will also be joining us for the morning to meet the artists and celebrate their work.

Friends and family are very welcome – we’d love you to invite them along! 💕

Can’t make the Meet & Greet? Magnifico will be on display from Monday 24 August until Friday 13 November, so there will be plenty of time to pop in and see the exhibition.

🎨🖼️ Our participants loved visiting the TRC Foyer Gallery to see their amazing artworks proudly on display as part of the Magnifico Art Exhibition!

It was a very proud moment seeing their creativity and hard work displayed for the wider community to enjoy. 💚✨
