If you are interested in holding a stall, please express your interest by the end of this week!

We want to represent a variety of providers from the Tablelands region or those that provide services on the Tablelands. Make sure to lock in the 30th of September, you won't want to miss out! 😊

Join us at the 2026 Tablelands Disability Expo!

Disability Matters is excited to announce that Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for stallholders at the 2026 Tablelands Disability Expo.

We invite local organisations, community groups, and service providers to showcase their services, connect with the community, and help raise awareness of the supports available to people living with disability, their families, carers, and the wider Tablelands community.

📅 Event Details
Date: Wednesday, 30 September 2026
Time: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Venue: Atherton International Club

👉 EOI Application Form
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YHKRRHS

💥Why Exhibit?
The Tablelands Disability Expo provides a valuable opportunity to:
✅ Connect directly with people living with disability, families, carers, and community members.
✅ Promote your organisation, programs, and services.
✅ Network with other local providers and stakeholders.
✅ Strengthen community awareness of available supports and resources.

💥Stallholder Information
Exhibitors are expected to maintain a presence for the entire duration of the event.

To exhibit at the expo, organisations must hold current Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of $20 million. This is a venue and event management requirement, and a copy of the policy must be provided. Please note that EOIs submitted without current Public Liability Insurance will not be considered.

There are no stallholder fees and no entry fees for attendees. This event is made possible through the generous support of our major sponsor, Tablelands Regional Council

Each exhibitor will be provided with:
One rectangular trestle table.
Two chairs.
If power is required, please indicate this in your EOI application.

💥Confirmation of Participation
Submitting an EOI does not guarantee a stallholder position. Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application approximately 3 weeks after submission.
EOI applications close at midnight on Monday, 31 August 2026. Applications received after this date may be placed on a waitlist.
Additional event information, including parking, bump-in and bump-out procedures, and event logistics, will be provided closer to the expo date.
As exhibitor spaces are limited, priority will be given to providers with a physical and ongoing presence within the Tablelands region, as well as those offering a diverse range of supports and services to attendees.

💥Support the Expo
We would greatly appreciate your assistance in promoting this event throughout the community. Please consider sharing the attached flyer with your clients, networks, colleagues, and mailing lists to help us reach as many participants, families, carers, and stakeholders as possible.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We look forward to working together to make the 2026 Tablelands Disability Expo a successful and inclusive community event.

We look forward to seeing you there!

NDIS Goal Achieved! 🦖

DM were thrilled to be able to support one of our participants to achieve his goal of visiting the dinosaurs out in Winton! He already could tell you every name of every dinosaur that ever existed, but now he can say he got to see them up close and personal 😊

Disability Matters was proud to attend the Malanda State High School Careers Expo, where we had the opportunity to connect with students and showcase the rewarding career pathways available in the disability and community services sector.

It was fantastic to speak with students about what it's like to work in disability support, the positive impact support workers have in their communities, and the many opportunities available to build a meaningful and fulfilling career.

Events like these play an important role in helping young people explore their future options while connecting them with local employers and industries. We were encouraged by the interest, enthusiasm and thoughtful questions from students as they considered their next steps.

A big thank you to Malanda State High School for hosting such a valuable event and for supporting students to discover the many career opportunities available right here in our local community!

Another big thank you to Siobhan and Tennille for inspiring the next generation of Disability support workers 😊
