Bellevue Park junior parkrun

junior parkrun is a series of 2km events for children aged between 4 and 14. They are open to all, walk, jog, run, volunteer, or spectate!

free, and safe and easy to take part in.

Thanks everyone for helping out this morning at junior parkrun.

A wet sodden track didn’t stop 54 athletes completing the course. Bravo. Champions 🏆

Congratulations to Matt STELEY for wearing the Run Director kit for the first, but not the last time.

🎉 250 NOT OUT - COME CELEBRATE A BELLEVUE FIRST! 🎉
Something HUGE is happening at Bellevue Park junior parkrun this Sunday, and everyone is invited to be part of it.
This Sunday, our very own Louie - a regular runner AND a much-loved volunteer - completes his 250th junior parkrun 🤩
And here's what makes it extra special…Louie will be the FIRST PERSON in Bellevue Park junior parkrun history to ever reach this incredible milestone
It's also the highest milestone in all of junior parkrun - the legendary yellow wristband 💛. It represents years of showing up, giving it everything, and being part of this community. Absolutely next-level dedication.
To celebrate, Louie got to pick the theme - and it's a cracker.
🎭 THE THEME: FICTIONAL CHARACTER DRESS-UP! 🧙‍♀️🦸
Come dressed as ANY fictional character you love! Superheroes, wizards, princesses, pirates, video-game legends, cartoon favourites, storybook heroes - if they live in a story, they're welcome at Bellevue. Raid the costume box and let your imagination run (literally).
Not into dressing up? No stress - just lace up and come along. Being there for Louis's big morning makes YOU part of the story!

Thank you to everyone for joining us for Bellevue Park junior parkrun event #226. We had:
👣 - 61x awesome athletes cross the finish line
🥇 - 8x Personal Best times
🎉 - 11x First-timers
and combined, we covered a massive 122kms 😮💪
A HUGE thank you also goes to all our volunteers this morning. Based off the volley photo (and Freyas count with her eyes-closed) we 'think' there was 22 - but if we missed a few please let us know 😂
