Last Tuesday, we had the pleasure of attending the Council of Christians and Jews Victoria’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, at St Kilda Town Hall.

Her Excellency, the Governor of Victoria, Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, delivered a thoughtful address, reflecting on the shared Abrahamic roots of our faith traditions and the history of this remarkable organisation.

It was a wonderful milestone, honouring decades of interfaith understanding, respect, and partnership.

Yesterday evening, the Islamic Council of Victoria hosted their 50th Anniversary Dinner, celebrating five decades of service, leadership, and community impact.

Representing the Melbourne Interfaith Centre were Rev. Hellen Summers OAM and board member Aristidis Tsoulakos.

Here’s to friendship, collaboration, and many more milestones ahead.
