Clean Water, One Family at a Time

Alhamdulillah, Aid Appeal Australia has donated another 15 tube wells to needy families today on Moheshkhali Island, Bangladesh.

But hundreds of families are still waiting for access to clean drinking water.

The need for clean drinking water is still great, and more families are waiting for a tube well.

Each tube well costs $180, including boring and concrete platform construction.

Any amount is welcome. You can also sponsor one or more complete tube wells.

For many families in remote villages of Bangladesh, access to clean drinking water begins with a journey that is far from easy.

Transporting tube well pipes and equipment through muddy, narrow and difficult roads takes time, effort and determination. But every challenge is worth it when the end result is clean, safe water for a family in need.

A few students from Daarul Imaan Academy were taken to visit one of our projects. Our aim was to encourage students to engage in social work alongside their studies and to introduce them to humanitarian activities beyond the classroom.

The students were taken into the field so they could learn not only through books and theory, but also through hands-on experience, understanding how what they learn in the classroom can be applied in real life.

MashaAllah, the students participated in our activities with great enthusiasm and genuine interest.

May Allah bless them and grant their efforts.
