Hope Made Strong

Laura Howe is a registered social worker, ministry leader and the founder of Hope Made Strong. With over 20 years of experience in mental health and addictions, Laura is passionate about helping the local church become a place of hope, belonging and purpose.

Through the Care Ministry Podcast, online courses, coaching, and the global Church Mental Health Summit, Laura has supported thousands of leaders around the world.

She knows firsthand the weight of caregiving and the risks of burnout, which is why her heart is to see leaders strengthened and equipped to serve well, without losing themselves in the process.

Laura’s teaching is practical, faith-filled and always rooted in real-life ministry experiences. Whether she’s training volunteers or speaking at large events, Laura helps churches build sustainable care ministries that truly make a difference.

Returning to JILTWC2026, Pastor Esabel is a gifted administrator and team builder with a deep passion for inspiring a new generation of women to be wholly surrendered to God and to walk boldly in their God-given
destinies.

She has taught at women’s conferences and led workshops in churches across Australia. Her passion is to see the people of God become authentic, broken and courageous disciple-makers who live for God’s glory.

Together with her husband, Reverend Paul Jeyachandran, Pastor Esabel provides leadership to a growing disciple-making movement across Australia. They also serve as the Senior Pastors of IDMC Church.

Imagine Nation Church Global

Pastor Carol Hanes has served in ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Jack, for nearly four decades. Together, they pioneered Imagine Nations Church Sydney in Penrith, in 1987 after coming to Australia as missionaries.

Pastor Carol has served in worship, preaching, teaching, women’s ministry, discipleship, pastoral care and resource development. She and Ps Jack have a strong passion for the Great Commission, church planting, discipleship and global
missions, with a vision to establish ten Imagine Nations Churches worldwide.

In November 2025, Ps Jack & Pastor Carol transitioned into their roles as Imagine Nations Global Pastors, providing oversight for churches, mission projects and international
partnerships.

Imagine Nations has since expanded to multiple locations, including Phoenix (USA), Melbourne, Canberra and Osaka Japan.
