Please come and join the Nēwara team as well as the Anaiwan community as we care for our country in our one out of two Native plant regeneration projects this year. It is late notice due to a few reasons behind the scenes and within the community, so if next Monday isn’t good for you, don’t stress we will be doing a more in-depth native plant workshop in the weeks to come (which will advise in advance). Our team will be carpooling from our office, so if you need transport to and from Nyambinga Kyuna please contact us. You won’t miss the new sign we have on Fleetwood Road if you are driving yourself.
We look forward to seeing you next Monday for this culturally significant event as a community.

Armidale Regional Council is going ahead in 2025 with signs at the main entrances to Armidale ackowledging that the city sits on the ancestral lands of the Anaiwan people. There will be an EOI out soon for designs for these signs.

Signs acknowledging Armidale as ancestral home of the Anaiwan people will most likely be erected at main roads...
