Sad to report the recent passing of former resident and active Tidy Towns Group member, Keith Gowling. Keith and his wife, Iris, ( pictured seated right) moved to Ardrossan approximately 25 years ago, having moved from a farm in the Tintinara SA area. Keith was a major player in the Ardrossan Tidy Towns Group from 2001 until a move to Goolwa several years ago. During their time in Ardrossan, both Keith and Iris were active in other voluntary and social group such as Lions. Keith, along with the late Denis Storey from Port Clinton, spent many weeks eradicating the box thorns along the coastal areas. On arrival in Goolwa, Keith soon took up the tools in the local Tidy Towns Group. Despite the move, Keith and Iris remained in regular contact with our lady Tidy Towns worker Diane Wheare ( standing) and she attended Keith's recent funeral.
