Well done, Teli! We are all so proud of you. Congratulations to our Mayor, Bob Sanders, and to you on being elected as the Deputy Mayor of Ararat Rural City Council.

I am honoured and humbled to have been elected as Deputy Mayor of Ararat Rural City Council, this evening.

I sincerely thank my fellow councillors for their trust, support, and confidence in me to serve as Deputy Mayor for the next 12 months. It is my privilege to work alongside such dedicated individuals who care deeply about the wellbeing of our community.

A special thanks to the residents of our municipality for your encouragement, ongoing support, and trust.

As Deputy Mayor, I am committed to serving our community to the best of my ability, and to continuing to grow and learn in this role. Together, we will keep building a stronger, more connected, and vibrant Ararat.

Last week, on Saturday, 11th of Oct Ararat came together to celebrate Diwali for the first time!
