We had another wonderful Meeting tonight

We had 3 fantastic Speaches
Janice did her icebreaker

Alix did her speach on her communication style

Sheri did her Write a Speech with Purpose .

It was Janice that impress the new president
David with her icebreaker speach
This leading to her winning the president award congratulations Janice

And congratulations David on becoming our new president.

Julie presented her Icebreaker

Taylor presented a speach on resilience

And Angela presented a speach on Time . They were all well presented.

As she did a wonderful job of presenting that speach.

We had another wonderful Meeting
Tonight 2 speech give by Alix and Goha Ross talked about Club officer roles. We congratulate Nash on getting the president award for taking on the toastmasters job. Tonight

Friday 16th May the opening night of the Marawa 2025inspired
D17 toastmasters conference
It started with drinks and Canape
Socialising then we moved in the main theatre for a night of fun
Welcome to country. Official opening by members of Sunday sundowners keynote addresses by the 2022 Word international speech winner Cyril Junior Dim
Then the main event the 2025 district 17 humorous contest
That was won by Kathryn Forrest from Fremantle Gateway congratulations to Kathryn and all the contestant and all the members in organising this event

We had another wonderful Meeting we had an table topic marathon 11 questions to 11 people therefore 11 evaluation. We had a 2 members received certificates Melissa completed level 1 of her path and Goha completed levels 2 of her parth congratulations to both of you tonight president award goes to Ross as his role as coach has helped us go from a club that got suspended to a club that is distinguished . Has also mentor other members with getting on pathway getting then starting with speeches. Thank you Ross for all you help.

4 very different speach
From Robyn did her icebreaker
Goha talked about mentoring
Ross gave us a history lesson on the Rabbits in Australia and Thomas Austin book
Last was Taylor and his speach about Value and Value
Tonight presents award gose to Goha her inspirational story on mentoring .
