Great to see our young boys turn up to Mittagong with a spring in their step. Each week we’re seeing more and more confidence grow across the team. Every player is getting involved, enjoying their footy, and loving playing alongside their mates. Great job, Appin White!
🌟 Player of the Week – Raine, Raine is really starting to move around the field with confidence, scoring some great tries and showing a fantastic attitude each week. Keep it up mate!
🐶 Top Dog Award – Oak, this young boy wasn’t too keen to jump on the field at first, but with a little encouragement he got out there and had a great run. He came very close to scoring an awesome runaway try. Keep up the great work Oak — proud of your effort mate!
U6 Blue
Today the kids had put in a real effort being down to the bare 6 players. But they all came ready to play and showed that on the field. They have all improved greatly in their tagging, getting plenty of tags today but also with the running game.
After working out which way was forward all the kids put in strong runs up field. Not just running sideways but straight and adding some nice footwork to bamboozle the opposition.
Everyone got muddy today but showed off their skills and how much they have improved since the beginning of the season.
Big thanks to Mittagong for lending us a player to get going. Then TJ from under 6 white for filling in. Making epic tags, scoring tries and bringing his big personality to the team.

Well today we finished our tackle ready program and was a great session for the kids.
We play Camden in a very rough and physical game. Our players of the match went to Kyhan and Mason for outstanding games.

Our Under 7 Blue had a great round of footy this week. We completed our last Tackle Ready session and then had an awesome game against Camden. Well done team.

Our under 8’s played an epic game today against Mittagong! They tried really hard and are starting to work well as a team! We saw some amazing tackles and runs.

The team had a great start to the game playing against Mittagong. The kids ran hard and helped each other with some great offloads. In defence the players work hard for each other and took down the bigger attackers together.

Today we played against Narellan, a great defensive team.
Our boys defended well all game, all 8 players put in across the park, so proud of them today only letting in 2 tries through kicks. Tough, close game.

Narellan today in the wet and under lights, how good. Great start to the game then we let the foot of the pedal and let 3 tries in. Went into the half 16-4 down.
Second half, the boys turned it around and got the win 22-16 with strong defence and some solid runs.

U11’s played a great game of footy this week. The team entered the game wanting to focus on our defence… they pushed hard all game and kept showing up for each other with some big hits and awesome teamwork in both attack and defence.. their hard work paid off and we got the win over Mittagong.

The U14GLT team played an amazing game. With great attack and even better defence. The girls are improving each week.

Another tough game for our U15 Girls today. Their defence started strong against Thirlmere Roosters despite only starting the game with 10 players. A huge thank you to Thirlmere for agreeing to match the on-field numbers today so our girls could still take the field and have a run.
With no subs available it was always going to be a tiring game, but the girls kept showing determination and never gave up. With an injury to one of our girls we were down to 9 players on field the girls still giving it their all.
Unfortunately, at half time, after a couple of injuries, the decision was made to call the game due to not having enough to field.
We are always proud of these girls and the effort, courage and heart they continue to show every single week. Rest up and recover girls 💙

16’s went up against Camden 2 and played one of their best games so far this year. Even though it was wet the girls attack was great with spreading the ball around from edge to edge and taking their opportunity’s when they came up. In defence they done amazing getting off the line and cutting down Camden’s attacking time. All around great game girls really starting to play like a team and play for each other.
