PETITION
The proposal to rezone land to be light industrial at 19 Gan Gan Rd (at the NB Road/Gan Gan Rd roundabout) is on the agenda at the 28 Oct Council meeting. The proposal would exacerbate flooding and drainage in Anna Bay, One Mile, etc. If you haven't yet signed the petition urging Councillors to reject the proposal and want to, drop into Anna Bay Sand or many of the other AB businesses.

It's parking chaos at Robinson Reserve. Fitzroy Street down to one lane. Only bit of footpath to get you to the beach has cars parked all over it. Suggest that Port Stephens Council send a ranger down to educate people that you can't just park wherever you like just because you have a car that can mount the kerb. It's paid parking with a time limit down there. Why should people get to park on the grass verge all day for free. Needs some monitoring asap. Leah Anderson - Mayor of Port Stephens
