Thank you to everyone who came to Once Upon a Roventure on the weekend. The event ran successfully and all participants and Leader had a great weekend.
The weather (mostly) held off over the weekend. Venturers compeated in round robin bases during the morning, these included crate stacking, first aid, pioneering, mental and physical challenges. Congratulations to our winners from Albion Park Venturer Unit.
In the afternoon the venturers, rover and leaders enjoyed paddling on the Shoalhaven River or painting mugs at the tea party. And during the night all participants competed in triva, enjoyed the disco or complete crafts including more mug painting and bracelet making.
Thank you to everyone who came to assist on the weekend included the South Coast and Tablelands Region vertical team, paddling team and entertainment team. Thank you to Both Illaroo scout group and Albion park scout group Who leant our gear for the event.
A big shout out to Office Works Fairy Meddow who donated the amazing prizes for the weekend.
And lastly a massive thank you to all the Rover who spent the last year helping to plan and run Once Upon a Roventure, the event would not have been possilbe without everyone's help

This weekend 5 of our Rovers braved the long drive to Victoria for surf moot, because who doesn't love a good road trip?
We all had a blast being tourist on the Great Ocean Road and in Melbourne. It was a well-run event and we'll definitely be back for more.

Last weekend Shoalhaven Rovers headed up to WWG North Legendary 🏕🌳
Our Rovers assisted in working on the committee on the lead up to the event and as generals during the game. We all had an absolute blast and look for to attending the next event.

Over the weekend, a group of our Rovers travelled to Yass to take part in Old McDonald had a moot hosted by First Albury Rovers.
Despite initial confusion about the theme among our 7 crew members, they went on to secure a 2nd place win!!!
The weekend was a fantastic experience, and everyone had a great time.

This week the Rovers joined with the Illaroo Scout Group Venturers to compete in the RoVen cup! The rain disappeared and both groups were challenged.
The score was very very close but the rovers took out gold by half a point! Looking forward to the next series of challenges! 🏆
