Do you have some finance, bookkeeping or accounting skills and would love to give back to our Scout community? 💚💛

Angle Vale Scout Group is looking for someone to step into the role of Treasurer and help us keep our finances running smoothly.

You don’t need to be an accountant or a financial expert — just someone who is organised, comfortable with numbers and willing to lend a hand.

🎉 A Day in the Life of a Scout Group Leader 🎉
Ever wondered what a Scout Group Leader actually does?
✅ Answers emails
✅ Organises activities
✅ Supports Leaders
✅ Attends meetings
✅ Solves problems
✅ Finds volunteers
✅ Fixes equipment
✅ Makes sure everyone has what they need
And somehow also...

☕ Drinks cold coffee
📱 Receives messages at all hours
🔍 Becomes a professional finder of lost forms
🎪 Juggles 100 jobs at once
🤔 Tries to remember who borrowed the camp gear six months ago

Behind every great Scout Group is a Group Leader working quietly in the background to help make adventures happen for our Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders, and volunteers.

So here's a big thank you to all the Group Leader, PENGUIN, who keep the wheels turning, the camps running, and the occasional chaos under control (most of the time! 😆).

They may not wear a cape, but they do wear a scarf—and that's pretty close! 🧣⭐

Happy World Scout Day! 🌏⚜️

Today, Scouts across Australia join millions around the world in celebrating the founding of the Scout Movement — a movement that has inspired young people to lead, serve and make a positive difference for more than a century.

As we celebrate, we also extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated Leaders and adult volunteers whose passion, encouragement and commitment help make these opportunities possible for so many young people.
