2027 marks a huge milestone for Fish the Fort — our 10-year anniversary.
Whether you’ve been with us from day one, sponsored in previous years, supported us recently, or are considering jumping on board for the first time, you are all part of the journey that has helped make Fish the Fort what it is today.
What started as a small local fundraiser raising just $4,000 in our very first year has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, sponsors and volunteers, Fish the Fort has now proudly returned more than $300,000 back into the Sunraysia area through our partnership with CHAILIS and other local initiatives.
In our 9th year alone, we raised over $70,000 — and as we head into our 10-year anniversary event in 2027, our goal is bigger than ever before. We would love to break the $100,000 mark and continue growing this event and the impact it has within our community.
At this early stage, we are not chasing payments — we are simply looking for commitment and support so we can track our progress, keep pounding the streets, think creatively, and turn our target into reality.
