The Alpha Jockey Club General Meeting was held last night and the vibes were it - planning for 2026 is well and truly underway! 🔥

And just when we thought the afternoon couldn’t get any better… the skies delivered a whopping 120ml of rain in an hour! 🌧️

The track is loving it and spirits are high.

The Alpha Jockey Club is inviting local community groups, clubs and organisations to submit Expressions of Interest to operate key areas of Alpha Races 2026.

This is a great opportunity to 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 while being part of one of Central Queensland’s most iconic race days.

Multiple bars are available for tender on Race Day.
🕙 Operating hours: 10:00am – Midnight

Operation of race day gate entry.
