Cows virtually shivering. Crunchy, frozen grass on an early morning. Waves of fog, not going anywhere for now. The obstinate sun, trying to win.

That’s the polite, kinda poetic way of saying fresh as f**k - I’m from a small, country town and that’s how we actually talk about the weather!

The CWA has been hard at work knitting us these warm, cosy gloves so that you don't lose the feeling in your fingers! And, best of all, each pair of gloves is made out of the wool leftovers from their other projects! That's the spinkly element I love. It's like alchemy. Knitters making something out of nothing. And when you buy a pair, you simply don’t know what your hands will be in for!

Our gloves are like us. Individual, warm, built with love, multi-coloured and completely unpredictable. Handmade love. And they’re in the market now! Link in comments!

PS: I wanted to call them ‘Love Your Gloves’. The CWA thought maybe I should call them ‘Glove Your Sister’. It was a clear choice. That is what they are!

PPS: We are 100% funding Precision Oncology for patients in rural, regional and remote Australia, and now have 27 sites, nationally! Also, we here at Love Your Sister don’t touch donations, which is also why the CWA have partnered with us. Together we are strongerongerer!

PPPS: I try to keep everything as affordable as possible and these gloves are by no means overpriced, but they are not a bargain because I didn’t want to disrespect the time and effort that the CWA ladies put into these individual expressions of love.

PPPPS: This photo is not AI - they are all real hands. I travel, every day, with a bevvy of beautiful womenfolk. It's just how I roll. I told them to stop patting me on the back for a minnie so we could get this shot! 😂 (thanks to my boss Lucy and market magician Dons !)

As the weather cools, we're bringing back this winter favourite - our hearty and delicious coconut lentil soup! 🍲

A yellow curry spice mix makes up the base of this soup and is so easy to make from spices you likely have in your pantry already! Head to our website for the recipe 👉https://qcwacountrykitchens.com.au/recipe/coconut-lentil-soup/
