Red Hot Arts Central Australia A non-profit arts org promoting the arts and supporting artists and arts workers in Mparntwe.

Red Hot Art Central Australia (RHACA) provides accessible spaces, workshops, support and events to facilitate, promote and build the capacity of arts and local artists. RHACA was founded in 2009 and is based at 67 Bath Street in Mparntwe Alice Springs. RHACA manages:
- Desert Festival
- Project Seed
- Bush Foods Festival
- Sector development programs and workshops

RHACA provides:
- Artist support

and auspicing
- Advertising & promotion services and platforms
- Venue hire (workshop, studio, conference room, foyer gallery space)
- Equipment hire (AV and media)

We know we’ve mentioned this before but our weekly What’s On newsletter is having a few hiccups. The good news is that we are so close to have it fully fixed and back in your inbox where it belongs.

Love arts and culture in Central Australia?

We’re on the hunt for a few great people to join the Red Hot Arts Board and help guide us through an exciting period of growth.

We’re especially keen to hear from people with connections to the arts, finance skills, and lived experience of diversity.

The perks?

✔️ Free governance training
✔️ Free tickets to our festivals and events
✔️ Connection and networking
✔️ Guide the org as we expand our role into sector leadership and advocacy as a peak body

Our website is getting an upgrade! This means our What’s On calendar will be temporarily frozen from 18–26 May while updates are completed. We won’t be able to add new events during this period.

📅 To get your event into our May 22 newsletter and onto the What’s On calendar, please submit your event by TOMORROW 15 May 10am.

What’s On and new submissions will reopen from 27 May.

This is space is a hive of activity from hub tenants, artists, visitors, hirers and community members. With light filled white walls, it is perfect for hosting exhibitions, installations, launches and talks.

It has a capacity of around 40, with equipment for hire, is accessible, flexible and starts from $30.

The Foyer is just one of four spaces to hire as part of our commitment to supporting artists and creative practice here in Mparntwe.

She’s a purpose-built space ideal for dance, theatre and creative development.

Designed for movement-based practice and performance, the studio features sprung floors, mirrors and full AV system with projector and screen.

Fully accessible, fully set-up and just waiting for some dance rehearsals.

The studio is just one of four spaces to hire as part of our commitment to supporting artists and creative practice here in Mparntwe.
