This long weekend fishing comp is sponsored by Gibbo;s Fabrication. Tom one of our Life member's and sponsor of the Alice River Anglers is the owner of Gibbo's Fabrication located in Alice River. With over 35 years experience in the boating industry you can trust Gibbo;s Fabrication with all of your boating needs. Specialising in sheet metal, everything with aluminium, all forms of welding using the latest technology. Everything from fuel tanks, electric motor mounts, canopy's, bait boards, trailers and even a complete new custom build boat.
As always comp will start 5:00 pm Friday. Weigh-in will be this public holiday Monday 4:00 pm start. All fish must be presented before 5:00 pm. Tom is also offering free camping at his fishing hut at the Barrata's. Leave a massage hear if would like to go. The bonus fish Flathead/ any Emperor. Free barbecue, licenced bar, Members Draw $100 and plenty more other prizes. Everyone welcome even if you have not joined yet. This is also the weekend we are getting behind the Pirtek Challange in suport of Prostrate cancer and the Peter Duncan Neurosciences Research. We will be having a special prize just for entering the Pirtek Challange. So bring all of your Pirtek merchandise so we can get a group photo. This easter long weekend is sponsored by CAMM GROUP.
CAMM are the suppliers for all of your concrete needs. Whether it is one load or a large scale project. All types of concrete can be delivered by there agitator trucks to your door. CAMM also has two quarry's one at Roseneath and one at Rollingstone. A full range of road base products and crushed rock can be supplied.

This Easter Long weekend competition will start this Thursday at 5:00 pm. Catch and release Number will come out at 4:00pm Thursday. Bonus fish Salmon/Cod/ Nannygai Small or Large. This is the only weekend were you get double points for catch and release. We encourage catch and release especially if fish are caught at the start of the long weekend. Remember all fish that are weighed in must be gut and gilled and in a fresh condition. Weigh in is on MONDAY public holiday 4:00pm start. Free Barbecue Licenced bar. Members draw is now at $150. There will be a raffle, Kids draw and plenty of other prizes. Hope you all have a great Easter and get a chance to get out for a fish. Every one is wealcome to come to the weigh in evan if you have not joined yet. Remember weigh in is this coming MONDAY at our club house Progress Rd Alice River.
