Hi all! Trainees are of course well aware of this and have since made other arrangements, however, for those who might be interested in visiting Resolution Combatives, we have sold our place in Alice River and, therefore, the gym at that location is now closed. Don't fret though, if all goes well we will be operating on the other side of Townsville in the not too distant future. So Alligator Creek, look out! Will keep everyone posted on updates as they happen (shed build). Take care all.

Hi all, trust you didn't incur much damage to your properties! Gym is likely out of action for a couple of days considering that electricity has not yet been restored here and the gym needs a thorough clean up given the doors were facing the wind and debris got in under them. Nothing a power vac, mop and a few hours labor won't ultimately fix though!

Hi there followers, its been a bit quiet on the boxing gym front since the start of this year. Still hung over perhaps? :)

Anyway, we welcome new and old trainees, novice to experienced.

Just provide a note of intention via the group messenger by 3pm if you wish to attend on a given day (gym does not open to the public if no intentions are received you see and, therefore, Doc can work a bit later at his paying job).

Gym hours for trainees: Mon-Thurs 5.00-6.15pm.

Trainees are NOT charged fees.

Adults only.

Have a good one people! Training is starting again Jan 2 and running same timetable as this year (Mon-Thurs 5.00 to 6.15pm). Remember to nominate before attending.

A number of boxing tournaments being programmed for next year I'm told, so for those wanting to fight it can be a big year!

Switching-- a 'movement system' that once mastered can take a fighter to the next level. Its the art of dynamic stance changing and switching during attack and defense. Resolution Combatives is on a mission to increase the representation of women in the boxing community in QLD (both competitive & non-competitive). For ladies who share this vision send us a message (we are located in Alice River).

You will train as a competitive boxer would (not boxercise), but there is no expected commitment to compete in bouts unless you wish.

If there is sufficient interest then dedicated classes will become available early evenings. There are no membership fees as this is a non-commercial operation that merely brings those with a common interest together at a single location to engage that interest. All activities are planned and supervised by coach.

Over 18s only please at this point in time.
