Bus for Orphanage This is a campaign to raise funds to buy a bus for an orphanage in Kenya An amazing lady called Rose Bugusu was born into a poverty stricken family.

She was very lucky to be able to go to high school and achieve an education. In her heart, she always knew that she needed to return to her village to help other under priveledged children one day. So in 2005, Tumaini Miles of Smiles orphanage was born by one person. What she has achieved in just over 10 years is nothing but amazing. There is now a school up to Year 6 and recently a technical comp

onent. However, many children who attend the school have to walk many kilometres to get there. Some live at the orphanage which is close by but others live far away. It means they often don't come to school because of the distance and because of inclement weather. Our mission is to raise enough money so that we can buy a school bus for them to enable all the children to attend school and so that they can participate in inter school events. Our goal is $50,000, which will purchase a second hand 24 seat mini bus.
