Saturday's field trip started with rain, all clear by Yea, albeit a tad chilly & foggy. Our crew enjoyed another day exploring our own backyard. A few interesting rock formations spotted by Diedre, Kerry's barbed wire art creation, Stonehenge for lunch, each granite rock paying tribute to the early pioneering families of the Highlands & Caveat districts, beautiful views and wonderful to see the ongoing regeneration of the land after our devastating fire of 7th-9th January. 💎💎

Come chase some sunsets at this years Lightning Ridge Opal Festival. From the 29th of July until the 1st of August.
