Operated entirely by volunteers, and helping more than 40 families in need every month, Love and Hope is dedicated to helping those in need within the Redlands community. Love and Hope Redlands receives referrals from local organisations, housing groups, churches, school principals and chaplains and local police to support families impacted by domestic violence, job loss, chronic illness, family b

reakdown, homelessness and a range of other issues from local organisations, housing groups, churches, school principals and chaplains, police, which result in them requiring assistance from a range of services on offer including:

— Grocery and food hampers
— Toiletries & personal items packs
— Home-cooked meals
— Baby care items

Donations of perishable and non-perishable items, as well as toiletries and baby care items are always welcomed and can be donated at our designated hub at 51 Allenby Road, Alexandra Hills. We are located behind the church charity shop, however we are not directly associated with the church organisation. In the lead up to each new school year, Love and Hope Redlands also provides stationary, books and other education-related items to families who have contacted their school principals or chaplains to convey they are unable to purchase booklist goods for their children. Despite generous donations Love and Hope are able to fulfil booklists for many students who otherwise would have gone without, however there are always more requests than are able to be completed, so any donations to this cause is always welcomed.
