The Hut Community Centre The Hut Community Centre has been serving the Adelaide Hills community in South Australia since it was formed in 1979.

The Hut works in collaboration with the Adelaide Hills Council, individuals and groups in the community to identify needs and provide activities and services for local residents. This Men’s Health Week, we invite community members to join us on Thursday June 18 from 5:30pm for an evening of good food, meaningful conversation and community connection with our friends at the Bridgewater Sports & Social Club.

Enjoy a complimentary homestyle burger while hearing from local men who are passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of men across the Adelaide Hills.

Our guest speakers include:
John Maguire from Summit Health, who will share insights into men's mental health and wellbeing, and the importance of staying connected and looking after ourselves.
Forte Worthy from Good Better Best Men, who will discuss the power of connection, personal growth and creating supportive communities where men can thrive.
You'll also have the opportunity to meet members of the Spark Mateship group, who will be there to welcome people, share stories and chat about the benefits of staying connected.

New ‘Cuppa & Chat’ with Local Community Services. These sessions will be held at Coventry Library in Stirling every other Thursday 10am - 12pm.

The first session is Thursday 4th of June with Community Connections Program, The Haven, and Relationships Australia. The aim will be to have different services at each session.

This is designed to connect community members with a range of local services and organisations in a welcoming and informal environment.

Each session provides an opportunity to meet with local supports offering help with employment, advocacy, community connection, advice, wellbeing, and access to services.

It’s a chance to have a friendly chat, learn about available supports, and build stronger connections within the local community.

Please come and say hello if you are in the area, or would like to hear more about a specific service.

We can work with you one on one with confidence building to take part in local community activities, taking up a new or once loved hobby, finding support groups, linking to volunteering opportunities or connecting with needed services.

The CCP experience is about you, developed with you for your benefit.

CCP is run across the Adelaide Hills with workers located at Mount Barker Community Centre & The Hut Community Centre.

This is a free service with some eligibility requirements. Please follow the link to our webpage:
