The Hut Community Centre

The Hut Community Centre The Hut Community Centre has been serving the Adelaide Hills community in South Australia since it was formed in 1979.

The Hut works in collaboration with the Adelaide Hills Council, individuals and groups in the community to identify needs and provide activities and services for local residents. Hut services are provided with the help of a dedicated and enthusiastic group of volunteers. New volunteers are always welcome to learn new skills, meet new friends and join in community activities.

Parenting can be rewarding, challenging and everything in between. Our Bringing Up Great Kids 4-week program is a gentle, supportive space to build on your strengths and explore practical ways to support both your children and yourself.

Over four weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to:
• Reflect on your parenting style
• Better understand your child’s needs and behaviours
• Work through parenting challenges with confidence and care
• Learn simple strategies to support your own wellbeing

Little Chefs, Big Skills! 5 weeks of cooking, creating and confidence-building!

Does your homeschooler love getting into the kitchen? Our Kitchen Skills Bootcamp is a fun 5-week series where kids can get hands-on, build confidence and learn the skills they need to become more independent in the kitchen.

From chopping and cooking safely to baking, making sauces and experimenting with flavours, each session will introduce a new skill and build towards creating a delicious final dish.

Designed for children aged 8+, the workshops are facilitated by Belinda from and are a great way to learn, cook and connect with other homeschooling families.

Starts Tuesday August 25 10am - 11:30am at The Village Well in Aldgate.
