And just like that, our very first chapter comes to an end. 🧅✨
On behalf of everyone at Next Gen Theatre Collective and Shrek the Musical, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this production possible - both on and off the stage.
Theatre takes a tribe. And that tribe extends far beyond the performers you see under the lights.
From our incredible creative and production teams, crew, musicians and volunteers, to the families, friends, supporters, sponsors and countless people who generously gave their time, skills, resources and encouragement. You all became part of our little swamp and we thank you for taking this leap with us. 💚
A production like this simply would not be possible without the people behind it. The late nights, early mornings, countless rehearsals, problem-solving, construction, sewing, organising, creating, encouraging and cheering from the sidelines have all helped build the world of Shrek the Musical, and we could not be prouder of what we created together.
Thank you to our community for embracing Next Gen Theatre Collective, supporting our first steps and believing in our vision to empower the next generation of performers, creatives and theatre-makers.
