These four joined forces to create one delicious carrot cake! Two tackled the cake base, while the other two took charge of the topping. 💪

No one escapes the jobs around here… not even the boss! 😂

At the cafe, everyone chips in and everyone gives everything a go — no slacking off just because you’re the boss!

Today Jen swapped boss duties for kitchen duties and got stuck into making coffees , cooking AND cleaning.

And judging by the team’s reaction, they were VERY happy to have her in the kitchen! Apparently Jen on kitchen duty is a crowd favourite.

That’s what teamwork looks like — everyone pitching in, learning together and getting the job done!

💜🐔 So much skill building happening at the café!

Last month our team was busy learning skills that can make a real difference to their future. 🌟

🥣 Measuring accurately and following recipes to build confidence with cooking at home.

🤝 Working together, communicating and delegating jobs to get things done as a team.

🧹 Learning cleaning tasks that transfer to home and future workplaces.

🛒 Completing online grocery orders — finding products, choosing quantities and making sure nothing is forgotten.

These might look like everyday café tasks, but each one is an opportunity to work towards individual NDIS goals and build practical skills for life, community participation and future employment.

Small skills today. Bigger possibilities tomorrow. 💜🐔

Another chicken has flown the coop!

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Faye over the past few years. Watching her build her skills, and grow in confidence.

One of the best parts of Faye’s journey has been the friendships she’s built along the way. She has become a valued member of our team, and her teammates will certainly miss seeing her each week.

Now it’s time for her next adventure as she heads off to pursue new employment.

Congratulations, Faye! We’re all cheering you on and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you
