The library is open every Saturday 10am to 12 noon and the 1st Wednesday of the month 9.30am to 11am. The library has been operating since 1989, and is 100% volunteer run. We operate much like a book library, whereby you borrow 6 toys for 3 weeks and return them when you're finished to then loan some more. Return them earlier if you like, or renew them for another 3 weeks if you love them. Childre
n develop rapidly from 0 - 5 years and we cater for the need for lots of new, quality, educational toys to help mental and physical developmental needs. By borrowing instead of buying, we save families thousands of dollars each year, and families can enjoy "trying before you buy" to discover where your child's real interest and passion lays when it comes to play. Then you can choose what kind of volunteering membership you'd like to pay for:
Family 6 month membership $50
Family 12 month membership $90
Family 12 month membership Concession $60 (Concession card must be sighted by a committee member and number noted on your form)
We rely on membership income and grants to cover operational costs, insurance, and of course to buy lots of wonderful toys and learning resources. We are an independently run library. How to pay: Online direct bank transfer is the most preferred method
