Go the mighty Maroons 🖤☀️❤️

Billy Slater and Cameron Smith met as aspiring NRL rookies at Queensland Cup side Norths Devils in the early 2000s, and soon realised they were born an hour apart on June 18, 1983. Today they both turn 40! Happy birthday! Here's hoping their celebrations include a Maroons win this week! 🎂🎁🎈

and a waste of $350 million dollars of tax payers money, just to implement this null and void referendum felt by many.

Treaty or Treaties is the only way forward.

My Aboriginal peoples care about the welfare of not only our peoples, but our fellow Non Indigenous Australians and protecting this entire country from corrupt offshore interests, powers and investments.

That's why we have hand picked 'Advisory' Aboriginal and TSI peoples who represent Government interests, not the peoples interest, with no proper consultation.

How is being included in the constitution going to help our peoples, when the Government makes flawed policies and has the power to keep doing so, not listening to Indigenous voices properly on the ground and going on deaf ears.

That's why they want to put us Indigenous Australians into the constitution, because then we signed off with the Corporation or Corporations.
The Government doesn't care about the Australian peoples, Indigenous or non Indigenous.

Whether it's playing live music across Dubbo and the Western Region, or his viral videos on TikTok, chances are you recognise Isaac Compton’s face!

The Wiradjuri man has now won a quarter of a million dollars after competing on a reality show which saw 14 people race to get to the top of one of New Zealand's highest peaks.

Over 14 days the competitors dwindled and the potential prize money dropped from $1 million to $490 thousand, but Isaac was one of final three to reach the summit and it was his personality and integrity that saw his eliminated competitors decide to give him the largest share of the money.

He nearly quit a couple of times throughout the gruelling trek, but Isaac persevered and dedicated the win to his parents, saying he'll be buying his Mum a new kitchen, give some money to his Dad and then go on a big holiday.

On his instagram, Isaac also dedicated the win to "the First Nations mob. I’m a firm believer that you can’t be what you can’t see. So to be on such a big platform representing my people is an honour. I hope there’s at least one young Blak kid out there watching my Big Head on their TV and thinking “I can do that. I can be that. I can go there.” I hope I did y’all proud. Love you my people 🖤💛❤️"

Congratulations Isaac - make sure you pop in to the ABC Western Plains studio next time you come home, and sing us a song!
