Rostrum Club 18, Adelaide, South Australia Rostrum Club 18 is a public speaking group that meets @ the Prince Albert Hotel, 254 Wright Street, Adelaide, every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Rostrum Club 18 meets over an evening meal at the Prince Albert Hotel, 254 Wright Street, Adelaide, every first and third Wednesday of the month. Having a meal together makes for a friendly and more relaxed atmosphere. In this comfortable company, learning new skills is highly enjoyable, and it's easy to gain in confidence. Our programs are varied and entertaining, reflecting the wishes and intere

sts of members and include speeches of all types and role-play. We even held a meeting in the West Terrace Cemetery to learn the skills of tour guides at the suggestion of a member. A senior Rostrum member, the Coach, provides us with supportive and constructive advice. We range in age from young professionals to retirees. Our interests are as varied as our backgrounds, which include the Public Service, small business, trades, teaching, the Police, and universities (studying, researching and lecturing). We not only learn to communicate and manage meetings more effectively; we also learn a great deal from each other about the world and humanity.

Club 18 Rostrum member Andrew Burns is raising funds for "Movember”.
