It's almost time for another month of a coffee, chat, and trip with friends! See what La Dolce Vita's social activities have to offer in November if you have a Support at Home package. ✨

☕ On 5 and 19 November, come to Croydon Bowling Club from 10:00am to 2:00pm for a lovely opportunity to catch-up with friends. Enjoy a social lunch along with exercises and bingo. It's a calm and fun space to spend time with others and make new memories!

🚌📽️ This month's Bus Trip is a day at the pictures! We’ll be watching a new release at Wallis Cinemas in Mitcham, followed by an included lunch at Dolci Cafe full of Italian goodness where you can discuss the movie with friends The trip will depart from Croydon Bowling Club at 9:00am, and return at 3:30pm. It is recommended to bring a walking aid as there will be a short walk from the bus to the cinema, and then to Dolci Cafe.

🌞 Last month's activities at the La Dolce Vtia Social Support Group were a wonderful time as we embraced the beginning of Spring with friends!

🍕 We adventured to the Adelaide Central Markets for a fun and food-filled tour, including lunch at Lucia's Pizza Bar! Good times with friends continued at our fortnightly sessions where we enjoyed a social lunch, exercised our bodies, and played bingo!

Starting from today, 1 October 2026, the Australian Government fully funds personal care services for people receiving support through the Support at Home program, including clients with Murray Mallee Aged Care and My Choice Care.

Personal care includes support with everyday tasks such as showering, dressing, medication support, and non-clinical continence care. If you receive these services from today onwards, you will not pay an out-of-pocket contribution.

If you have any questions about these changes, please contact your Care Partner by calling 8532 2255 (Murray Mallee Aged Care) or 8365 0151 (My Choice Care).

Ready for a coffee, chat, and trip with friends? Come join La Dolce Vita's social activities if you have a Support at Home package. 🤩

☕ On 8 and 22 October, head to Croydon Bowling Club from 10am for a perfect opportunity to catch-up with friends. Enjoy a social lunch along with exercises and bingo. It's a calm and fun space to spend time with friends and make new memories!

🚌🏞️ This month's Bus Trip take us to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. With the spring sun out, its the perfect time to see the abundance of nature on offer. Our walk among the greenery is followed by an included lunch at the Botanic Lodge – delicious! We'll depart from Croydon Bowling Club not long after 9:00am, and return at 3:30pm. Although the path to the Botanic Lodge is flat, it is recommended to bring walking aids and comfortable closed shoes.
