BBQ Volunteer Call Out 🍔🌭

The Northern Adelaide Veterans' & Families' Wellbeing Hub is looking for volunteers to help with our monthly BBQ, with our next BBQ taking place on Friday 30th October.

We're seeking support from community members, volunteers, Defence units, and local organisations who would like to give back and connect with veterans and their families in a meaningful way.

Volunteer tasks may include:

Cooking and serving the BBQ
Setting up and packing down
Assisting with general activities on the day

You don't need to commit every month. Whether you can help once or would like to be involved regularly, we'd love to hear from you!

Please note that the Northern Adelaide Veterans’ & Families’ Wellbeing Hub will be closed on Thursday, 22 October for a staff training day.

If you require support while we are closed, please contact Open Arms on 1800 011 046. Their service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We will reopen as normal the following day.

What a fantastic day at the National Military Vehicle Museum's 50th Anniversary Open Day! 🚛🇦🇺

We had a great time hosting a stall and connecting with veterans, current serving members, families, and the wider community. It was wonderful to meet so many people, share information about the Northern Adelaide Veterans' & Families' Wellbeing Hub, and learn more about the incredible work being done across the veteran community.

A big thank you to the National Military Vehicle Museum for having us as part of this special milestone celebration. We loved being involved and look forward to future opportunities to connect with the community.

We're launching our new Hub-Based program out of the Northern Adelaide Veterans' and Families' Wellbeing Hub.

📣 Join Us for a Morning Tea of Remembrance

The Northern Adelaide Veterans’ & Families Wellbeing Hub invites you to join us as we acknowledge the 25th Anniversary of Australian Service in Afghanistan.

This morning tea is an opportunity to honour and remember the service and sacrifice of Australian Defence Force personnel, their families, and coalition partners who served in Afghanistan.
