Looking for a unique activity for your young ones in 2026?

Why not enlist with the South Australian Marine Corps Cadets!

Founded in 2001 and situated in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide at Parafield Airport, the Marines offer exciting opportunities for young people to build confidence, discipline, teamwork, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships in a fun and supportive environment.

We are now recruiting for 2026!

Programs available for:
• Junior Marines — Ages 8–12
• Senior Marines — Ages 13–18

We are currently organizing several Information Sessions where families can come along, meet the team, ask questions, and discover what the Marine Corps Cadets are all about.

Cadet Training Opportunity.
Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders:
Volunteer Role.
We're seeking an experienced individual to inspire and educate young Cadets in Field and Bushcraft and Survival skills in 2026. With a commitment of just 2 hours per week, either Thursday or Friday nights . You’ll have the opportunity to deliver a structured training program that fosters growth and development. This initial 20-week appointment offers the potential for long-term impact, with the possibility of ongoing training options. If you know someone with expertise in this area, please share this opportunity. Expressions of interest can be emailed to [email protected]. Current or prior ADF experience is highly valued. Last night, our Headquarters at Parafield hosted the Final Parade for 2025 and Presentation night, celebrating outstanding achievements and milestones.
Congratulations to the following recipients who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and hard work.
Basic Training Certificates and attaining Cadet 1st Class were awarded to Cadets Dylon Lane, Jordon Malcolm, Senia Ryan and Trent Todd.
Cadet 1st Class Elvin Thomas received the Squadron Academic Achievement award
Sergeant Gavin Thomas was named NCO of the Year.
Cadet 1st Class Bailey Norman took home the prestigious Cadet of the Year award.
We also celebrated the promotion of Liam Richards to 2nd Lieutenant, marking a significant milestone in his journey from Cadet to Adult Officer.
Here's to an exciting 2026, our 25th Year Anniversary, which promises to be filled with celebrations over the coming months.
