Outstanding news for education, culture and community!

On Sunday, 15 February 2026, Treasurer announced that a re-elected Peter Malinauskas Labor Government will commit $200,000 to the Hellenic Studies Foundation to establish a new scholarship program in the name of the Very Reverend Father Diogenis Patsouris OAM

These scholarships will support students attending St George College, expanding access to quality education while strengthening the future of Modern Greek language and cultural studies in South Australia.

This is a meaningful investment in families, opportunity and legacy — and a most fitting recognition of Father Patsouris’ lifetime of service to faith, education and community!
Grateful for the Government’s support and its commitment to ensuring the next generation can learn, grow and thrive.
