What a beautiful afternoon we had celebrating the feast of l-Imnarja together last weekend! 🎉

On behalf of Sister Bonnie and the Maltese Chaplaincy Festivities Group, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the day a wonderful success. It was so lovely to see so many people, families and kids all together, sharing food, drinks, music and a bit of our beautiful Maltese culture right here in South Australia. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to:
🙏 Fr. Alfred for celebrating mass with us
🎶 The Maltese Chaplaincy Choir and our talented pianist Nigel Stedman
🥁 The Maltese Queen of Victories Band for a wonderful musical program
🤝 All our kind volunteers, and everyone who donated items or brought a plate to share.

None of this would have been possible without you all!

We also loved our exhibition of traditional Maltese items and souvenirs. Thank you to everyone who brought something along to display. It really brought the spirit of Imnarja to life!

We can’t wait to celebrate with you again at our next feast — the Queen of Victories, coming up in September. Keep an eye on the group for details! 🎊

Looking forward to seeing you all at l-Imnarja this Sunday!!

The feast of the Apostles of St. Peter and St. Paul - the National Feast of Imnarja - will be celebrated again this year on Sunday 28th June.

Mass will be conducted by Fr. Alfred at 2.30pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, Lockleys.

After mass, we'll meet in the church hall for a social gathering, followed by a musical program by the Maltese Queen of Victories Band. It'll be greatly appreciated if you can please bring a plate to share.

As an Imnarja tradition, we'll also be holding an exhibition of traditional and cultural Maltese items and souvenirs, as well as arts and craft. Those who wish to present any items, please bring them to the church hall by 2.00pm at the very latest.

We encourage everyone to come along to join us for a lovely Maltese gathering!

One week to go.... 🇲🇹 IMNARJA FEAST 2026 🇲🇹

The Maltese Chaplaincy Festivities Group would like to advise that the feast of the Apostles of St. Peter and St. Paul - the National Feast of Imnarja - will be celebrated again this year, next Sunday 28th June.
