This National Volunteer Week, with the 2026 theme of ‘Your Year to Volunteer’ - we proudly celebrate and thank our incredible volunteers (past and present) who help us connect community to nature and sustainable living 💚

With so many groups, programs and places across greater Adelaide for each to connect with - our evolving "Get Involved" resource can help you find out and become more involved in your interest areas.

The resource has five themes: waste reduction; coastal management; food and gardening; community and advocacy; and conservation and biodiversity. Each theme lists groups and programs you can connect or volunteer with, and places you can visit for more information.

Visit us at The Exchange or access it here today:

Are you passionate about the environment and want to do or find out more? There are so many groups, programs and places across Green Adelaide for you to connect with!

Special Event: Join us at the Exchange for a FREE talk from author Dr Jake Robinson about his new book "The Nature of Pandemics" on Wednesday 25th Feb from 6pm.

Jake will discuss how our relationship with nature shapes global health and why protecting biodiversity is key to human survival.

Discover how pandemics are not simply medical crises but ecological ones - born from biodiversity loss, habitat destruction, and the disruption of natural systems that once kept disease in balance; and – crucially – the rays of hope and the practical solutions emerging from holistic thinking and cutting-edge science.

This is a FREE Event but bookings essential via Humanitix:

Get tickets on Humanitix - Author Talk: The Nature of Pandemics with Dr Jake Robinson hosted by Adelaide Sustainability Centre. The Exchange - Ground Floor Event Theatre, 55 Exchange Pl, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia. Wednesday 25th February 2026. Find event information.
